As a general guide for standard conditions, here are some suggestions based on pool sizes:
- HE110: Suitable for pools up to 15,000 gallons or 450 square feet.
- HE125: Designed for pools up to 23,000 gallons or 650 square feet.
- HE150: Ideal for pools up to 27,000 gallons or 800 square feet.
Additionally, using a pool cover can significantly reduce heat losses by 50%.
When heating a spa with heat pumps, it's advisable to opt for a larger size. Unlike other heating methods, you can't overdo it with a pool heat pump.
